I am thinking about my next project and was considering a fishing-related book on the meaning of life: contemplative, reflective, maybe even spiritual.
As is often the case, there is nothing new under the sun. As I began making notes and doing some research, I came across a 2002 publication by Peter Kaminsky titled The Fly Fisherman’s Guide to the Meaning of Life, published by Rodale Press.
So I found a copy and read it through. As I turned pages and flipped through chapters, perused the various quotes and notes, I realized that this one would be hard to top. Compact and to the point, it offers a wealth of perspectives and lessons to consider. If you are looking for something to brighten your day and your outlook, as well as a good read, give it a try. Now I just have to find another idea for my next project.
Peter also wrote The Moon Pulled Up An Acre of Bass which I loved.
